Position Summary:

Reporting to the Group Director of Programmatic & Analytics, you will be working in close collaboration with the media planning team, data team and other stakeholders to adapt process and ensure successful campaign launch, pacing and delivery.

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes ad technology and data-driven marketing. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience with digital ad buying platforms at a trading desk or supply side publisher/technology and is ready to advance their career by taking on a new challenge as the programmatic lead at a full-service in-house agency.

You will be responsible for the ownership of our programmatic media strategies and the adoption of best in-class innovative formats and tactics to further drive performance. The role includes the management of the programmatic team and engaging with respective agency counterparts, clients and external partners. You would be expected to be a source of expertise and point of escalation, ensuring quality control on team’s output including reporting, post analyses, and other deliverables to partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the media planning team to develop a programmatic strategy that ensures the clients marketing objectives are met with appropriate programmatic tactics
  • Oversee the management of campaigns to ensure they consistently meet or exceed client KPIs and lending support to day to day trading as needed
  • Create and enforce workflow processes to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time
  • Develop relationships with platform, inventory and data providers to maximize their value.
  • Keep key stakeholders including clients and account teams updated on campaign performances via regular and ad-hoc reporting and status meetings
  • Support the Group Director of programmatic and Analytics as needed for larger presentations, projects or pitches
  • Develop best practices that improve the quality or efficiency of work within an account or broader agency programmatic team
  • Develop POVs, Presentations or other shareable collateral that improves the overall level of programmatic education across programmatic and digital teams
  • Manage, mentor, supervise and coach a team with various levels of knowledge across programmatic media. Understand team’s needs and help build strong relationships to encourage improved performance.
  • Provide insights, recommendations and strategic direction based on client’s business needs and objectives (KPIs), industry trends, competitive landscape and metrics insights.
  • Have an ability to see patterns and trends in large amounts of data and how it can contribute to overall business success.

Skills and EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years’ experience managing Programmatic campaigns with a Demand Side Platform, or equivalent experience with a Supply-Side Platform.
  • Deep expertise in the programmatic publisher, platform, and audience supplier ecosystem
  • Video, Connected TV, and Audio experience a plus
  • Strong digital media background and project management skills
  • Experience leading and building a team of direct reports
  • Experience with visualization tools or coding languages is a plus
  • Expertise in Programmatic buying platforms such as the Trade Desk, Google DV360, and others
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to create pivot tables and perform v-lookups
  • Ability to create, grow and expand relationships with clients, vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Passion for learning new technologies
  • Passion for working in a fast-growing full-service in-house agency
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in marketing, business or any quantitative or analytical related fields
  • Experience working on automotive is a plus
